Privacy Policy

In short: we only collect what you choose to tell us in the quote form or by phone, text or email. We use it to put together your life insurance options and stay in touch about them. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use tracking cookies or ads.
This policy explains how Tashi Burke-Tomaeno, a licensed life insurance agent (“we,” “us” or “our”), handles information collected through tashifex.netlify.app (the “site”) and when you contact us.
Information we collect
When you request a quote, the form asks for:
- Your full name, age, phone number, email address and state
- Who would receive the benefit (your beneficiary)
- Whether you currently have life insurance
- Your monthly budget for coverage
- Whether you want mortgage protection and, if so, your remaining mortgage balance and monthly payment
- Whether you agreed to be contacted by calls and text messages
Sent automatically with your request: the date and time, the address of the page you used, and any campaign tags in the link you followed (for example, which ad or email brought you to the site).
When you contact us by phone, text or email, we keep what you share in that conversation.
When you visit the site, the companies that host it and supply its fonts (see below) receive basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type, as any website does. The site itself doesn’t set cookies or use analytics or advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To review your answers and prepare life insurance options that fit your needs and budget
- To contact you about your quote, usually within 1 business day
- To help you apply for coverage you choose, and to support you after your policy is in place, including with claims
- To keep records of your request and your contact preferences
- To meet our legal and regulatory duties as a licensed insurance agent
Calls and text messages
If you check the consent box in the quote form, we may contact you about life insurance at the phone number you provided, including by calls and text messages that may use automated technology or prerecorded messages. Consent is not a condition of purchase, and you can still get a quote without it.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text, or by telling us on a call. Reply HELP for help.
- We don’t share your mobile number or texting consent with third parties for their own marketing.
If you don’t check the box, we’ll still follow up about your quote, for example by email or a regular phone call.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to serve you:
- Insurance companies, to get quotes and process applications you choose to make. Each insurer handles your information under its own privacy policy.
- Service providers that help run the site and our business: Netlify (website hosting), FormSubmit (delivers the quote form to our email), Google (email, the spreadsheet where we track requests, and the site’s fonts).
- When required by law, for example to respond to a regulator, court order or other legal request, or to protect someone’s safety.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while we’re helping you and for as long as we need it afterward to serve your policy and meet insurance record-keeping rules. When we no longer need it, we delete it.
How we protect it
The site uses a secure (HTTPS) connection, and we limit access to your information to what’s needed to help you. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so please don’t include sensitive details such as Social Security or bank account numbers in the quote form or by email.
Your choices
- See, correct or delete your information: email us and we’ll respond within a reasonable time. We may need to keep some records to meet legal requirements.
- Stop calls and texts: reply STOP, or tell us by phone or email.
- Depending on your state, you may have additional privacy rights. Contact us and we’ll help.
Who this site is for
Our services are for adults 18 and older in the United States, except New York. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
